What is Chiropractic?
Our registered Chiropractors provide patients with a comprehensive treatment plan that is tailor-made for each individual and their specific needs.
Chiropractors are primary care practitioners in the diagnosis, and conservative management of neuro-musculoskeletal conditions and numerous health conditions. Chiropractors use a variety of different techniques to treat patients – the most common is manual manipulation or adjustments, where the Chiropractor induces movement into a bio-mechanically restricted joint. Chiropractors will also use other techniques including dry-needling, kinesio taping, ultrasound, Shockwave Therapy and heat therapy as well as massage.
Chiropractic treatments are safe and patients can even experience immediate relief following a treatment. Some patients may experience some mild discomfort, soreness or stiffness but this should pass in 24 to 48 hours.
In addition to treating health concerns and injuries, Chiropractic treatment can be used to enhance sports performance as it increases mobility, prevents injury, increases strength and enhances race day performance.

Sports Injury Treatments
Chiropractic treatment is a natural, drug-free way to make sure your body is performing optimally during training and leading up to Competition day. Chiropractic adjustments may help ensure that your body is functioning as efficiently as possible, which can maximize your performance and boost healing and recovery from any injuries you may have.
Both high-impact and low-impact athletes can benefit from routine chiropractic treatment. For high-impact athletes, it may increase performance and flexibility and lower the risk of injury. For low-impact athletes, routine treatments may help relieve any strain that is being placed on your body.
What to expect from your first treatment
Our first Chiropractic treatment will last about 45 minutes – 1 hour and will start with a full medical history. The Chiropractor will perform a physical exam and ask you about your points of discomfort or injuries. Once the Chiropractor has made a diagnosis your first treatment will begin. Your treatment may consist of a range of therapies, each of which will be explained before they are performed.
It’s important to stay relaxed during your treatment so if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to raise them with your Chiropractor.
